SciStarter is welcoming two interns to our team! Here they are to tell you about their projects. We encourage you to leave a comment to say hello, and don’t be shy about reaching out to them directly about their projects. (Project managers, this especially pertains to you!)

“Hi, I’m Lauren! I am looking for projects that people in Philadelphia can participate in. Do you have such a project? Email me at Lauren@SciStarter.com!”

Hi, everyone! My name is Lauren Schreck, and I am so excited to introduce myself as one of SciStarter’s new interns! I am currently a junior at Saint Joseph’s University, double majoring in Business Administration and Economics with a concentration in International Business. My work at SciStarter includes research in citizen science and environmental policy. With a passion for the community and an ambitious attitude, I hope to bring new aspirations to our team!

“Hi, I’m Joseph! I’m researching Philadelphia-based projects to be featured on WHYY radio and our 76ers game showcase in November! E-mail me at Joseph@SciStarter.com!”

Hi, everyone! My name is Joseph Kren, and I’m a junior Economics major at Saint Joseph’s University. I lived in Brussels, Belgium, for high school, and I hope to work for the government someday. I have a heavy interest in economic policy, and how it affects various aspects of life. Right now I am focusing on researching Philadelphia-based projects that we can showcase for WHYY radio and our 76ers game showcase in November!
